ADA COMPLIANT: Las Olas Guesthouse provides users of wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility aids access to the beautiful property and the ADA bedroom.
- All doors and entryways on the property have a minimum width 32 inches for a clear passage.
- The King ADA bedroom has one bed and allows clear space of at least 30 inches wide on both sides of the bed to accommodate parallel positioning of a wheelchair for side transfers. There is enough clear floor space for a wheelchair to turn around by use of a “T” turn.
- The bathroom has a roll-in shower with grab bars located on the side wall and a handheld shower nozzle. The height of the toilet seat from the floor is 17”. There is enough clear floor space for a wheelchair to turn around by use of a “T” turn.
- The guest room is adapted for the use of people with hearing and/or sight impairment with flashing LED smoke detectors and visible notification devices to alert room occupants when there is a knock at the door.
